Inept or impossible? AnyType app only

What do you need help with?

I’m new to AnyType and don’t have access to a laptop to download a desktop version. Is there any mileage in going app only? I’m struggling to do things like creating multiple collections. Admittedly this could be ineptitude. For reference I’m using Android on a Samsung tablet, which I use Dex on.

Yes, it’s possible to use mobile only. I also mainly use the app for android these days. But for backup purposes, you might want to install on more than one device. (Example: your phone and your tablet)

Also, I don’t use Dex, but I heard the view for android mobile and for android tablet is the same, so it’s more of an enlarged mobile view for larger android screens. I have no idea if this has been improved recently. Point is, creating Collections is possible, but you’re limited to mobile interface.

And inline Collections, Queries, and kanban views are not yet available in mobile.
