Image Download not Working in newest Beta

WHAT IS THE BUG

In the newest Beta (0.56.11-beta) the download of images is mostly not working. Sometimes it is, but most of the time a broken image with a small byte size is downloaded.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Go to an image

  2. Click on Download

  3. The message that the image has successfully downloaded is showing

  4. Look after the image in the Explorer

  5. See that the image has no thumbnail, is only some bytes in size and can’t be opened

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

That the image would be correctly downloaded

They seem to always have the size of 179 bytes, reported by Windows.

Hey there. Are recently uploaded pictures also affected?

I was able to reproduce it, but only with older pictures.

Yeah, you seem to be right. I’ve tried it on a newly uploaded one and it worked fine. Though that doesn’t really help much :smiley: . It would be nice to also work on older ones…

Maybe it’s a middleware regression, I dunno. Now that’s in the tracker though Roma will surely take a look :raising_hands:
