how do I create a calendar widget?

Additional Context

Finally, I just had a look at some items in the Gallery. I have to admit that I saw no point in looking at it before, nor did I have much time or understanding about what it does. I think a very short paragraph whenever the gallery is introduced/mentioned the first time should also explain what it is.
Looking at those examples, I saw a calendar widget that shows current month (I guess) and some dates are marked. This would be a perfect match for my Diary space and also to learn a bit more about the available functionality.

So, the question is - how do I create a calendar widget? What object do I need to create and pin there?

I know there’s been bunch of changes recently around that but I assume the core concepts still apply? Some templates have been around (Person, Contact, etc.) that are no longer there (by default). But they are just objects with properties and should still show and operate as before.

The template is YAPKMS - Yet Another PKM Space. The calendar is in the preview screenshots.

You can create a view in the query or collection with calendar, pin it and switch widget to this view.
