How and where Bookmarks save images?

What do you need help with?

I’ve recently discovered bookmarks and I’m very happy to see that they automatically parse some data and images. I’ve created a couple dozen, deleted a few, tried to check if the images for them (preview and favicon) were deleted too, but I don’t see a single image associated with the bookmark, either in “All Objects” or in the Image set. So what happened when I created the bookmark, can I at least see a preview of it somewhere other than a link to it, or more importantly, what happens to the image files of the deleted bookmarks, do they take up space even after the bookmark is deleted or do they disappear without a trace along with it, freeing up space?

The imported images are hidden, and at the moment, they won’t be deleted after you delete the source bookmark. If you would like to see these hidden objects, you can just go to Debug > Flags > Hidden objects.

I never understood why the Bookmark Objects doesn’t show their image directly it in?
Is it planned for the future?

I have Debug > Flags > Hidden Objects on, but the BM Objects still doesn’t show the pics.

Where do you expect these pictures to appear?

Debug > Flags > Hidden objects will only reveal these objects. For instance, in the All Objects widget.

I expect the pic to appear on the Canvas of a Bookmark that is opened as an Object.

Please create a separate FR for this.
