WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Currently the line divider is almost invisible on dark mode as it is very thin and the grey does not pop strongly from the text background colour. The 3 dots contrast well but are only visible if you look a the center of the page.
You can add background colours to the dividers, but they are also very subdued and do not contrast with the background well.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE?
I think more line divider styles, such as a bold line, dots throughout the line, zigzag… could serve well for this.
You could also add an alternative high contrast colour palette for background colours, or allow us to directly pick the colours which will be displayed
REAL WORLD USE CASES
Higher contrast dividers will be useful for people with seeing difficulties, working with displays that have harsh light such as sunlight on them, and allow further style choices of pages for better presentability of information
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT
I use my laptop on the go, and often work into the evening/night, When using appropriate light for the room (be it harsh sunlight or only a desk lamp in a dark room) the letters have sufficient contrast but the dividers and colours don’t.
