Fit media toggle does not fit the media in Kanban or Gallery collection layouts

WHAT IS THE BUG

When viewing a collection using the Kanban or Gallery layouts (regardless of card size), toggling the “Fit media” option on does not fit the media in the card. This issue started for me with either version 0.55 or 0.55.1 and it was not fixed with the update to 0.55.2 nor 0.55.3 (which installed while I was typing all this lol)

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Go to a collection view

  2. Click on the collection settings icon next to the “New” button

  3. Select “Layout” > Select “Gallery” (or Kanban) > toggle “Fit media”

  4. Image size either doesn’t change or flashes in “fit” style for less than a second then returns to full.

  5. I was able to provide a video capture the bug, here it is (I retook the video so it’s on 0.55.3):

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

I expect that toggling the “Fit media” option on would result in the media size adjusting to fit within the card.
