Hello @yellow nice idea. Now we are considering the path our product should take and if we decided to go fully on better working with calendar we will implement this one as a part of this.
I would totally love something like this, and even support for calendar/contacts integrated with the OS (for example making a calendar set view available as a calendar for android) but now I’m maundering.
About the actual work for features like this, my opinion is that the core version should support basic import/export of calendar and contacts formats and let plugins do the rest. I don’t know what we would need in terms of API thought.
Do you know if it will be possible to create a simple plugin that syncs your objects with a specific date relation to, for instance, Google calendar when the API get’s published initially?
My use case is timeblocking. Since presumably Anytype won’t have any notifications until the spaces are completely implemented, this seems like an easy way to work around it.
Also, my pomodoro timer can pull events from Google calendar, so that would be one more thing I wouldn’t need to do manually anymore.
Came here to say that this feature would be excellent. My use-case is two-way sync between CalDev for calendar items and tasks. This would greatly improve usability of a shared space and sending tasks from various calendars to AnyType.
