Date entry broken (pt. II) [fixed with 0.46.8]

What’s The Bug?

and while on the subject: please make it recognize entering “.” while fixing this

How To Reproduce It

  1. go into a date field
  2. enter the date by hand
  3. see the wrong date appear

“stretch goal”:

  1. enter the date field
  2. enter “1.” (a literal “1” and a literal “.”)
  3. make it jump to the “month” field then please :slight_smile:

(stretch goal – not a bug, just a paper cut, a very annoying one)

(Side note – the stretch goal would very much still be worth pursuing, I still have to type “0102” instead of “1.2.” which is the natural reflex …)

Umm, this is how the mask works I guess, need to see if it’s possible.

everything is possible in software :wink: . question of effort … . if that’s too much – well, i guess there’s more important things to tackle, yet this is a weird papercut at least to me. I would appreciate the go-and-have-a-look though, even if it’s then pushed to a distant future :slight_smile:

Indeed, but this piece is using an external library soif it does not support it it will require an effort to either change the library or write in-house code. Last time Ive googled I could not find better mask library for my needs.
