WHAT IS THE BUG
The normal behavior of Anytype is that the language is an LTR one and it treats it as such by the cursor being to the left of the block. However, After switching from LTR to RTL and start typing two things happen:
- the first letter is always deleted between jumping from left to right
- if you write a couple of letters and delete them in a way that cursor reaches the block’s end, it would jump to the left and treat it like LTR again.
and this behavior repeats itself indefinitely as is shown in the video bellow.
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT
- Create an object with a blank editor, in my case, it’s of the style “note”.
- switch the language from LTR to RTL
- start typing in LTR
- Delete the letters written in LTR
THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
For the cursor to remain to the right in RTL mode, and not jump back to the left unless I start typing in an LTR language.
