Consistent Inline Query Table View and Filtering on Mobile

I’ve noticed a major inconsistency between desktop (Mac) and mobile (e.g., iPad) when using inline queries on an Object Page.

On desktop, inline queries are displayed directly as tables within the page, which makes it easy to view and interact with the data. However, on mobile devices, the same inline query only appears as a box with a link labeled “inline query,” requiring an extra step to open the table. This significantly disrupts the user experience and makes it much harder to quickly access information when on the go.

For a tool like Anytype, which is designed to provide quick and reliable access to information anytime, this limitation is quite critical. Being unable to properly view inline data on mobile is, unfortunately, a dealbreaker for me.

Additionally, there is an issue with filtering:

  • I am using a “This Object” filter to display only relevant data related to the current object.

  • This filter works correctly on desktop.

  • On mobile, however, the filter does not work at all and shows all entries regardless of context.

Expected behavior:

  • Inline queries should render as full tables directly within the page on mobile, just like on desktop.

  • Filters such as “This Object” should function consistently across all platforms.

Current workaround: The only workaround I’ve found is linking to a separate table view, but this creates a poor experience on desktop (where both the inline table and the link appear) and is not an ideal solution.

Request:

  • Enable inline table rendering for queries on mobile.

  • Fix filter behavior so that “This Object” and other filters work correctly on mobile.

  • Ensure a consistent experience across desktop and mobile platforms.

Is there any better workaround currently available, or are there plans to address this limitation?
