Chat type dissapeared in space settings

WHAT IS THE BUG
I don’t see Chat type in the Object Types window - also the Object Types window doesn’t behave as it used to - it doesn’t open default queries for the types yet they are still present in the space.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT
Sadly i do not know what caused this

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Describe what you expected to happen:
Well i didn’t expect the chat type to just dissapear from the window, and i expect the object types when i click a type to open the default query like it used to.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT
I’ve tried reinstalling - i’ll try a more thorough reinstall but just deleting from windows apps and installing by anytype installer didn’t help.

So I see the technical library version is older and I guess the issue might be that each time I update the installer says mid update that it asks to repeat the process because it couldn’t close anytype so might be that. However I don’t know how to update it so the issue still persists.

This is the latest version of the library. There is no need to worry about it. :slightly_smiling_face:

Could you please confirm whether the chat type reappeared after reinstalling, as you mentioned on Telegram?

Regarding your other issue, it’s expected behavior now, but I can’t find the FR at the moment.

yeah i reinstalled a couple times but still i don’t see the chat typein system types even if i create a chat object in that space - i still do have the chat type in the space but i don’t see it in Object types so yes the issue didn’t fix after reinstall. It is the same for any spaces, even if i make a new one.

Do you mind sharing where exactly does it appear in other places in the app?

This bug report has been added to our tracker and received by our development team.

So it’s the same as i’ve shown in the video. i’ll record it again to be sure.


So the chat type itself works - i can open it and find it in graph view and it works everywhere, i just don’t see the type in Object Types System types.
Sorry lol already wrote it. Great! i’ll wait for the fix! Also great update long awaited self references!
