WHAT IS THE BUG
When using Shift + Enter at the end of an inline code block, the new line incorrectly starts with the last character of the previous line shifted left
The last character of an inline code block on the second line of a callout cannot be highlighted or shaded
Enter at the end of a callout creates a new callout block instead of a standard text line
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT
-
Create a callout block
-
Input normal text on the first line
-
On the second line, type “abc” and format it as an inline code block
-
Attempt to use
Shift + Enterat the end of the text “abc|”- Result: New line starts with “c|”, and the second line becomes “ab”
-
Apply shading/color to the inline code block on the first line
- Result: The shading works as usual
-
Apply shading to the inline code block on the second line
- Result: The last character cannot be shaded
-
Press
Enterat the end of the callout section- Result: Creates another callout instead of a normal text line
THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
- New lines should create a clean break without shifting 1 character
- Inline code should be fully shaded/highlighted
- Pressing
Entershould exit the callout and create a normal paragraph
