What do you need help with?
Hi community,
Today, I continued building my knowledge environment.
In doing so, I encountered a behavior that I don’t know whether it’s a bug or normal. If this is normal, then I don’t understand it, because I saw this very strength in Anytype.
A brief explanation with an example:
I create two types, “Cars” and “Drivers.”
Both types have the other type as an object property (“Cars” has the property “Drivers” from type ‘Drivers’ and vice versa).
Now I create a few sample objects.
For “Cars,” I have created Ford, Mercedes, and Porsche.
For “Drivers,” I have created Albert, Susann, and Richard.
Now I go to the object type “Cars” and add a column “Drivers.”
Now I select any name from “Driver.”
But when I go to the object of type Drivers and add a column of type “Cars,” there are no values here.
I would have expected these to be logically linked – shouldn’t that be the case? Is this intentional?
For large data connections, an automatic logical link would be the only sensible option, as otherwise you would have to link everything multiple times.
