Love these! I hope the Anytype team takes inspiration and implements those designs. The number of extra clicks (or taps on mobile) is a pretty big UX challenge in Anytpe, not just for convenience but for accessibility too: it’s harder to find what you’re looking for. I also suggested some improvements but they were mostly not implemented.
In any case, I love your work @GrayArc. My only comment has to do with the clickable “toggle relations” and “my relations” section headers:
- there is an issue with the arrows on the side. These arrows suggest an expand/collapse feature, but actually the sections are expanded by default and cannot be fully collapsed; instead it seems to me (tell me if I’m wrong) that clicking on the section headers toggles a sort of full-screen mode within the modal. So a different icon would be preferable to convey that (i think a full screen icon would work well)
- though a full screen icon would better convey what clicking the section headers do, I would actually remove this altogether to simplify the modal and remove clutter. Perhaps I would change my mind if I started using the modals you designed, but I think its just not necessary: I doubt that it is common to have dozens of relations within an object or relations, and if the user does have this many relations, the search bar will do the job.
Anyway, it all looks great and I hope this gets implemented!
