On Desktop, the benefits panel for free beta users shows 3 shared spaces with 3 editors per space, and doesn’t cite an exact amount (should be 10gb) of remote storage.
The pricing page says that free users get 100mb of remote storage and up to 10 shared spaces.
Is this panel still up to date? Shouldn’t beta users get at least what free users get?
How To Reproduce It
Be a beta user.
Go to the membership tab of your vault settings.
Click “Manage” on the “Anytype Beta Users” option.
Even Pioneers like myself only get 1GB. 10GB for now joining beta users would be a bit unfair
Or is Beta before a Pioneer when the app was still in Alpha? This is confusing I have to admit
I don’t know the exact terminology but I’ve been around for… awhile. Searching back through my email shows messages about the alpha program, so presumably that’s what it is?
Well, yeah, and there’s the Alpha title after my forum name.
It is up to date. Very early alpha (or beta?) users got the 10GB. Then it switched to 1GB (Pioneer) which it was for quite a while. This year it switched to100MB (which I think is low tbh). If you see “Beta user” on your panel that’s because that’s the free plan you’re on. I see Pioneer because that’s the free plan I got. Now it should just show “Free” for the 100MB for anyone new.
Ok, so, all beta users should have 10gb, yes? Pioneer users are a different plan, and that panel should show 1gb? Modern free users are the plan that’s shown right now on the website, with 100mb?
Other part of the question: shared spaces. As a beta user, do I only get three shared spaces, or do I get the ten that the modern free plan has? (Related, what do Pioneers have?)
