That bug was about Last modified date, I think. This one, it is Creation date what seems affected (plus, in my case, remnants of the original object data appearing as non-functional duplicates). Probably related, though not exactly the same bug.

Thanks @Maira for pointing that out. Comments in that bug report did mention creation date, but it might indeed be better highlighting the critical points.
