Thanks for the details. I see you already mentioned deleting the folder in %appdata%.

Just to make sure we’re looking at the exact directory the app is using, could you try this once:

  1. Open Anytype

  2. Go to File → Open → Work directory

  3. This will open the folder the app currently uses for its work data

Please confirm whether this is the same folder you deleted earlier. If not, try deleting everything in that directory, then launch the app again.

Let us know what you see there.

Thank you for feedback.
The main problem - the app won’t launch so i can’t do what you ask.
I created video to demostrate the problem https://skrinshoter.ru/vaY4TTuqnIS
And another one - I opened %appdata% via Run and deleted anytype folder in %appdata% and launched Anytype https://skr.sh/vaYwpZ0npYV

I can assume that clearing registry (regedit) to remove traces of Anytype from system could help but i don’t know if it could help.

I think topic can be closed.
It seems that something wrong with PC / current user session - i’ve just found another program that “broke” (closes on launch).

Were you able to fix either of the two apps or are they both still not working?

I give up on trying to fix the problem.
The only solution i found is to create new windows user.

It’s strange, but the problem resolved itself. All the programs that were crashing before now work fine.
I didn’t update anything manually and Windows didn’t download any updates either (judging by the update history).
