AnyType just Black Screen in iOS and iPadOS

What’s The Bug?

Recently iOS and iPadOS is just opening a Black Screen not loading anything. This could be because I know I am using my iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 Developer Betas but just reporting so it will be present if in future releases have this too. Maybe we can use this if we are having the same Issue in future Alpha release of iOS and iPadOS 18. I got my latest update on MacOS and it is working and haven’t found any bugs or issues yet.

How To Reproduce It

  1. Just Open the anyType App on iPhone or iPad running 18.1 Developer Betas.
  2. We will see the Black Screen and it doesn’t load anything.

Thank you @Angelo.

Hi @Angelo

Is there any Hot-Fix Update for iOS or iPadOS as well by any chance?

Because I see there is a nice significant update to iOS in release:

Love to see this and too bad I can’t even open my app lol.

Thank you,

@DarkKnight Hi! Could you check the authorization in the stable iOS version?

Hey @mikhail,

Thank You,

Settings → Key

Hey @mikhail

Thank You, I checked my key which gave me an idea which I haven’t tried. I uninstalled my AnyType and Reinstalled it from the App Store which asked me to enter my Key again and it started working now in Both my iPhone and iPad. This is now resolved.

Thank You,
Srinivas
