iOS 0.29.2
Greetings, Anytype iOS fans! Weâre beyond excited to bring you our most anticipated release of 2024: the Multiplayer Release!
With this update, you can now share spaces with your friends, family, and communitiesâŚand never have to worry that content youâve created will be surveilled, blocked, or leaked.
From today onward, we warmly welcome you to begin testing out shared spaces, starting with the small things: idea boards, shopping lists, projects, and wikis.
If you need inspiration, you can always check the Collaboration Experiences newly added to the Experience Gallery (or submit your own!).
We canât wait to see what youâll create, and look forward to this new, networked era of Anytype.
New Features:
Multiplayer: Live on iOS
Multiplayer is LIVE - you can give it a spin by tapping the Space Settings menu of one of your spaces (excluding your Entry space). From there, youâll see the option to Share Space in your Space settings. By doing so, youâll generate an invite link for the Space, which can be sent to anyone.
Once they click the link and request to join your Space, youâll receive a notification prompting you to add this person as an Editor, Viewer, or to reject the request entirely. Editors have edit access to all objects within the Space, while Viewers have read-only access to all objects within the space.
As a Space owner, it is possible to share up to three Spaces at this time. You can manage the roles of guests you have invited to your Space, or remove them altogether. Guests who have been removed from a space will receive a notification that they have been removed from the Space, and will see an option to export the contents of the Space.
Improvements:
Network Name now Supported on iOS
As Memberships have been introduced with this release (purchasable on Desktop only), those of you with Builder or Co-Creator memberships will now see your Network Name reflected in your Profile and Space Settings, instead of your Anytype ID.
Files-as-Objects: File Visibility in link-to and @ mentions
When using the /Link-to and /@ commands, youâll now see files & media as options in the object selection menu.
Files & Media Relation Formats added to Set & Collection Filter Menu
When filtering Sets and Collections that use File and Media relations, the filter menu now includes options to filter according to relations with type: File and Media. This means you can, for instance, filter for .png attachments, or videos with a certain name.
Updated File Icons in Featured Relations
If one of your featured relations includes a File or Media relation, youâll find that the icons got a sleek makeover for better visual consistency and overall feel.
Create New Object from Clipboard
When you have a URL in your clipboard, long-tapping the + button will display a new option to âCreate object from Clipboardâ, which will
