After a reinstall I got a spaceType1 under my space name in the sidebar

WHAT IS THE BUG

Under my space name (in the sidebar) a strange :warning:spaceType1 :warning: string is displayed.

The space settings page looks fine.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Reinstall the app with the newest v0.35.9-alpha from GitHub
  2. Click on the Version → Pre-release
  3. Install the “Update”, meaning go back to 0.35.4
  4. The space type name should be corrupted

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

There should be a proper space type name.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

I’ve switched back to the release version and uninstalled the app from my system and did a clean install again. Didn’t help.

Was able to replicate on Windows 10 as well after downgrading from pre-release(v0.35.15-beta) to release(v0.35.4)

I also got the same bug and the same procedure too. In addition, I found another bug, which is not being able to add tags in Anytype’s built-in Relational Tag (can’t be clicked) and not showing under Title and Description.

Hope you guys can fix it, thanks!

Yes. All relations created with the type relation ‘Tag’ are locked everywhere. This seems to be happening when changing back from pre-release to release versions on Windows and the lock on ‘Tag’ seems to sync to all devices as well. Now the lock appears on the same account but on Android as well.

This is in addition to the spaceType1 bug mentioned by @anon

EDIT: The user created relations of ‘Tag’ as well as ‘Status’ are locked from editing. They do not appear locked when looking in the Library. Custom Relations of ‘Tag’ and ‘Status’ created after change to Release work fine.

same bug here when switching back from prelease to release.

Same issue here. Not causing any problems that I know of, but it is a bit ugly looking at this.

This is not a bug, this is because you have used version that updated type of your space but older client does not have a localisation string for it. Update to 0.36.0.

Are you on 0.36.* ?

Confirming that upgrading to this version resolved the issue.
