Add graph view to mobile

I’m an AnyType user. I recently discovered the app and loved it, but I see in the comments section that since 2022 they’ve been requesting that the graphical view be available on the mobile versions of Android, iOS, and iPad. That’s really the only thing missing; it’s been years since the request. I end up traveling more for work and I use the iPad more, and sometimes I really want to use Obsidian because the mobile version has the full graphical view, just like the desktop version.
Please, I hope the more complete mobile version comes out this year. It’s so necessary.

I think it would attract many more users to use AnyType.

Also hopping in here to maybe make a dev look at this request again.

A graph view is really helpful for me, as a visually thinking person. Even the flowchart option would already help if it were implemented on mobile.

Otherwise it seems like i’ll have to migrate to Obsidian

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

The graph mode on desktop is very useful for visualizing objects and navigating quickly. Having this feature on mobile would be just as useful.

Same graphical view as desktop, but made interactive for mobile devices.

I very much would enjoy this feature. I use graph view on desktop to really get my bearings on my data. This would be a big level up for the mobile version. I currently only use mobile for quick capture of information when I’m away and do all my organizing/structuring when I’m back at the desktop with the graph view.

Please add graph view to Android and IOS…. I came to Anytype because of features like that and didn’t realise that it wasn’t available on all platforms.

There are currently no plans to add Graph to mobile.

If that changes in the future, we will share an update with the community.

Well that is unfortunate.. isn’t there an overarching goal to bring parity between the desktop and mobile app?

The few times I’ve had an opportunity to try and show off the app to a friend and explain how I use it have been when I’m not at my desktop… so I always start out with the caveat of the graph not being available on my phone, but it is the main way I look at my data. So my “pitch” if you will always falls flat as I’ve never gotten anyone else in my life to really see the potential.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t always have the right “Search term” in my head when I need to find something, so I often scan the graph to find the right context of what I am looking for… even if the mobile implementation was largely scaled down compared to the desktop version, that would be a huge improvement to me.

I also hope that mobile graph functionality can be developed in the future. The graph is one of the best features of Anytype that I rely on, even if future mobile versions only support local graphs.
