Top 15 Voting -- Features & Fixes Wishlist + Community Kanban Boards

It’s sad that while supported AnyType since Alpha but didn’t not contribute in community couldn’t get the 10GB storage, only 1GB for beta :frowning:

@Alvinkxy check this out:

This would be my preference as well but unfortunately it’s not possible. I addressed it in the original post:

Why can’t I vote for this feature request?
https://community.anytype.io/t/when-can-anytype-publish-the-protobuf-files/9610/2

Currently you can’t vote for plugin or api… probably because they are by nature not priority

It’s because it’s a sub-category of feature requests. It’s a technical issue iirc.

Hello, there is an important feature if you can vote for it, adding comments on each word

That would make more sense than what C.c said (@C.c , you were being sarcastic, right?).

@Angelo @Anyteam : Any idea when what seems to be a forum bug will be fixed so we can vote on topics 9610 (above), 9666, 8636, 7578, 8122, etc. ?

I agree that forum bug makes more sense.

I will be honest that I am not being sarcastic. Let me clarify.
I don’t think plugin and api are not important. I am waiting for a Zotero plugin from day one I use Anytype. However, I believe plugin and api are what we the community could contribute to (like in Obsidian) when Anytype become open source. It is Anytype Team to manage the main features and provide the platform for greatest freedom in developing plugin and api. That way the software will get the more efficient progress and the best internal consistency.

Of course, this depends on how Anytype Team decide to manage community contributions and if the team themselves will make efforts in plugin too. It would make sense to be able to vote what’s community’s preference and priority, so we get the plugin / api we want quicker.

I went ahead and installed Feature Voting into the Plugins sub. Should work after a quick docker update (if it isn’t already)!

I didn’t do it earlier to prevent people from wasting their votes. The idea of voting was meant to prioritize development of the most actionable items within the current time-frame. Which for now at least, is just our team.

Like you said, the category itself is still a good way to see in which plugins the community is interested in. That way developers can prioritize certain plugins.
