f you try to publish a page with the same name as an already published one, an error occurs.

There is a typo in the error message: “uri already taken” instead of “url already taken.”

Thanks for the extension in Raycast.
I’d love to see the Create Object command expanded by adding an option to create an object within a collection.

There may be no typo, URI exist.

Uniform Resource Identifier (URI)
Uniform Resource Locator (URL)
Uniform Resource Name (URN)

But I agree, if there is only one URI for a whole space, it’s a bummer for same name Objects…

WOW! It’s awesome! RTL was unexpected, albeit a wonderful one. I can’t wait to integrate Anytype with Raycast!

RTL is a very fast implementation which does not work very good in all cases, so we would be happy if you (I mean all users) provide feedback so we can fix all the edge cases.

I understand completely. Since my primary language is Persian which is a RTL one​:sweat_smile:, I plan to create a detailed post showcasing different scenarios which is missing from the current implementation and I hope it would help :slightly_smiling_face:.

Hello.
I found a visual bug while typing on the client for macOS 15.2

Steps to reproduce:

  • Switch to text input mode.
  • Press the language switch key.
  • Start typing before the language switch pop-up disappears.

Issue:

  • Visually, the text does not appear while typing.
  • The language switch pop-up freezes for a while.
  • Once the pop-up finally disappears (which takes longer due to the freeze), the typed text suddenly appears.

Expected behavior (as seen in other macOS 15.2 applications):

  • The language switch pop-up should disappear as soon as text input begins.

This is an amazing and big update although some features are missing from web publishing

  • linking to different pages
  • using a custom domain
  • password protecting pages
  • export to HTML

As web publishing is in this beta it is still very good and has come much sooner than i expected I think the team has done a great job and i am excited for future updates

As promised, I created a post listing the edge cases that I’ve found so far :slightly_smiling_face:.

These look like important and useful updates. I thought I’d try it out by upgrading to the pre-release beta. I used the AnyType menu option to change to that version and then let it upgrade and restart. Unfortunately, when AnyType restarted it told me I had no spaces (even though I had two). I shut down AnyType and restarted it to see if it would refresh but it just hung at the sign-in phase and wouldn’t go any further. I downgraded to the current version and it worked again.

This appears to be like what happened in this older bug report Login to existing spaces/account stuck at "Please enter your Key" prompt - #29 by mchi0008

I now this new version isn’t yet intended for release so if it’s useful, I will try to replicate what I did and send some info from my system if the AnyType team would like to request anything.

It should be fine in the next release (if not, don’t hesitate to reply to the bug).

I tried web publishing when it first came out, and it was slow asf. But now it’s blazing fast! I’m super amazed - nice job, Anytype team! :blush:

I like to share pages with pictures & videos. It would be amazing to have the lightbox gallery view as well on the shared page :+1:
