Name of new object is not saved when created though relation

WHAT IS THE BUG

When creating an object through relation, the name of the object is not saved. Object’s remained untitled.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Go to a relation. (Canvas or collection)
  2. Type in something as the name of a new object
  3. Create new object and press enter
  4. :lady_beetle: See new object is formed but “Untitled” is displayed
  5. Open the new object to confirm it is not a display issue. Object is still untitled.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

New objects get its name given in relation.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

I suspect it is a conflict of instructions between the name inputted at relation and the empty/pre-fill name instruction given on template; however, switching empty name or pre-fill name doesn’t change the outcome. New object is still untitled when created through relation

Hey, could you please share a screenshot and / or a video of the issue? I’m unable to reproduce it.

Sure. Here you go.
Note: Version history also shows no name given to the object.

Confirmed still a problem with 0.54.9. Some additional information: This issue only happens if the new object is created through keyboard - pressing enter on ‘Create object “xxx”’ but not mouse left-clicking on “Create object “xxx”.
