That’s why I citated from wiki this sentence:
Bei echtem WYSIWYG wird ein Dokument während der Bearbeitung am Bildschirm genauso angezeigt, wie es bei der Ausgabe über ein anderes Gerät, z. B. einen Drucker, aussieht.
Maybe I’m biased but In my opinion is printing clearly the number one “anderes Gerät” (different device) for the output.
I used Anytype in by small business and later in my study (as well as private of course). And what I need all the time is the printing function. But it doesn’t fulfill my elementary needs.
That has big consequences:
I’m forced to copy & paste information from Anytype into another software, for example LibreOffice Writer. Then I need to do the formatings there (a lot work), only for printing.
But if I later do edits in Anytype, I would need to do the same work again … and again … and again … 
In the result I see the bitter truth: Anytype is not the first choice for storing information that’s supposed to become printed.
The fact that we are able to embed external files doesn’t solve that problem, because the search function (or Queries) can not deal with the information that are stored in these files.
That we don’t have TRUE WYSIWYG, together with the missing backlinks for images, are the two missing features that I called here:
Both are basic things for a software like this, and essential (not for everyone, but for most users, I think).
Not understandable why the team now is experimenting with Excalidraw, if such essentials like backlinks and true WYSIWYG is still missed (in a 6 or 7 years old product!)! – Not to speak about REAL Relations and math functions, that I both also consider as “basic” for a software like this.
I like that we have chat now.
And I will like it if we get Excallidraw.
And I will like to get AI.
And I will like every new feature that will come.
– BUT I dislike EVERYTHING if that hinders the devs of finally finish the essential basics!!!
