I think this question/suggestion could be incorporated into the meta discussion about Databases, spreadsheets, and tables or that this deserves its own “larger discussion” about “how to display Objects”. The main reason I’ve linked the other larger discussion is because of the concept of transclusion that is discussed in the other topic, and that immediately came to mind when I read your topic.
