I manage repair orders with Anytype. Every customer gets a paper receipt with all the details of the job we’ve discussed. I have created a template for this receipt.
Of course, the date of the repair order is also noted on it.
I use a Date Relation for this.
But in the printout (as well as in the template), appears “Today” instead of the date. 
Of course it is useless in this way, because every day is “Today”.
Please change it!
And please do it also for “Yesterday”.
I disagree with you here, having “Today” instead of the actual date is highly important when showing the date for tasks, projects and other types of objects.
This allows focusing on today’s deliverables. A date is not as eye-catching as the word “Today” in a set/collection that contains multiple dates.
I totally understand your pain point, so this feature request could be something like an option in the date relation to either show “Dates” or “Words” for Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
An option would be the best way for sure.
But I would never use “Today/Yesterday”, because I hate it also in Set and Collection.
I sort the entries so that the actual ones are listed at the top. This is eye-catching enought for me.
It disturbes me all the time more than it helps, if the top ones dance out of the line with their format.
I simply can not think in terms like “Yesterday”. Maybe it has to do with my irregular worktime, which often reaches deep into the night, that I lost the feeling for “Today/Yesterday” or two days ago. I somehow mix it up in my brain.
But a date is a date for me, without any doubts, without the need for thinking.
I really don’t know why this FR has no votes?
It’s so important, surely not only for me!
None of my forms make any sense if the printout always shows “Today” instead of the real date!

I can’t give such a printout to a customer!
Nor can’t I punch holes in a paper like this and put it in my own file folder.
I already tried different workarounds to deal with this issue (using a text relation, or modifiing the system date …), but none of these is satisfactory, I made several mistakes with them or had other problems here and there.

I really think to fix this behavior can only be a tiny little job that would be done in a matter of minutes.
It would double the benefit when using Anytype, if I could print my forms in a meaningful way!

Sorry for pressing the topic, but something must happen, the problem wit the dates can’t stay as it is.
I can’t see any argument against a tiny extension in the configuration for the date settings.
IMHO it never makes any sense for printed sites to show the relative date (“Today” and so on). But if anyone thinks otherwise, he could choose between relative and absolute dates.

Thank you for the feedback. @ignatovv is currently on sick leave and will be absent for a while. I believe your case can be solved by adding an extra option for Export (PDF?). I will discuss this with @Razor and let you know.

Personally I would very prefer to see the correct (absolute) date also in the Collections and Sets.
But it is really urgent needed for prints.
