A Notion alternative beyond the cloud

This reads like a great summary. I am not coming from Notion but started with AnyType. From the list of comparisons, the only thing I do miss that Notion has is inline formulae (there is a topic here about that as well, I know);
But to that extend the text is also wrong that you have Markdown support. Because in Markdown (most flavours at least) something in $...$ would be rendered as math. So one trick that for example Zettlr does, is to render the math when there is no cursor inside and show the LaTeX code if the cursor is in there. Maybe that might be an idea to solve this here as well?

And yes my previous approach was Zettlr, but that is a bit less structured than Anytype and I do like the sets, relations and collections.
