What is the best practice to link another object?

Hi,

In my daily notes, I want to type: Discuss with John about the coming sprint.

I try to link John which is an human object. So I have two issues below:

  • I have to type /, scroll down to click Link to object, Type John, and then select the right human. I am wondering if anytype can allow us just type /John, then the matched object will come up to select.

  • After I linked the John human object, the added object appears in the next line, and the whole sentence is not connect again. I am wondering if we can shall the matched object inline?

Hello! You can link objects by typing “@”, then writing the name of the object and hit Enter. It will create an inline link to object. You also can select text, and click chain icon to add a link to any text.
