Unable to log in on iPadOS

WHAT IS THE BUG

I cannot log in to my account on my iPad.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Attempt to log in to my account using AnyType 0.21.0 (36).
  2. (There is no step 2.)

The pass phrase is twelve words; it’s exactly what’s in my password manager; it’s exactly what I use on my Mac to log in successfully using AnyType 0.32.3, and now also 0.33.0.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

I would expect to be logged in and to see my dashboard.

SYSTEM INFORMATION

  • iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation), iPadOS 16.5.1 (current)

  • Anytype 0.21.0 (36) – the current TestFlight version

  • 2021 16" MacBook Pro M1 Max, macOS 13.4.1 (current Ventura release)

  • Anytype 0.33.0 (just released)

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

There are a few closed bug reports reporting the same problem, solved either when Anytype fixed a certificate issue or when a version mismatch was resolved.

Current iPadOS version is 23.2. Updating might solve this

TestFlight tells me that 0.21.0 (36) is the current version; I made sure of that before I reported this as a bug.

Is this not the case? And if not, where can I get this 23.2 of which you write?

Thanks!

0.21 was the legacy version of AT and isn’t compatible with the new infrastructure.

If I remember right, when 0.22 was released, it was on a new TestFlight. There was an invitation to the new TestFlight in (I think) an email.

@Angelo may be able to help

Thanks! Actually, just getting the new app from the App Store did the trick:
