WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND
Giving users easy quick access to controls for how they want their data handled in the Anytype Client through the sync menu. Specifically for the local only mode that is in the roadmap.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE
Implement separate hover state menus for different data backup methods. More methods could be added later on depending on if users want to add their own nodes. Additionally, a menu should be added to the profile to manage individually synced pages.
REAL WORLD USE CASES
The user may want to permanently disable the cloud node, or at least temporarily do so while working on a sensitive project, or one containing a lot of large files for which they may not want to buy more cloud storage. For the object level controls, the user may want to conserve cloud storage space

You could also put this whole interface into the the data management menu, I just already liked the setup here
