Typed text after pasted link (non-bookmark) becomes part of link

Describe the bug
When pasting a link and then writing out additional text, the additional text becomes part of the hyperlink. This additional text shouldn’t function this way.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. In any block: paste a link.
  2. Click on ‘dismiss’ instead of ‘create bookmark’
  3. Type any text once the link has been pasted.
  4. See all subsequent text become part of the hyperlink.

Expected behaviour
After pasting a non-bookmark hyperlink, following text in same block should not operate as linked text.

System Information:

  • OS: MacOS 12.0.1
  • Anytype Version: e.g. 0.22.3

Additional context
Currently, in order to unlink the intended plain text following a link, one must:
Highlight the text, click the hyperlink button, and unlink it from the original pasted link. And, in order to do so, one must use Shift + arrow (or) Shift + Click & Drag to highlight select the text. Otherwise, a shift + click will result in opening the hyperlink instead of selecting the desired text.

@corbin Hi! Thank you for your notice! We have fixed this, see in the next release

This seems to be back (more or less).
With the new “external” icon on the link, I cant place the cursor behind the icon to type there. So with the small tests i made it seems its either:
a) only the link on the line
b) having the whole block being the link.

Hey @corbin
it’s now possible to write after links.
Would you see this bug as fixed?

This is still a problem.

It’s only possible to write after the link, when the text after the link is typed before the link is set.

@corbin This was fixed. Check it out with the latest release (0.27.0)
