The anytype app icon

I find the anytype community icon to be much pleasing and modern, the white icon which is the main app icon seems not so good

How about this icon as the main app icon? Its dark and much pleasing to eyes!

OR

This colour scheme at the startup of android anytype app is wayyyy better than the original colour scheme, i think replacing the pink app part of app icon with the blue used in the above image and the white with the black would be much more appealing! Any opinions?

You are not the first to mention the misalignment of our favicon and icons in general. It’s definitely a personal preference, but I’ve noticed most people who have an issue with it are running in dark mode the majority of the time. Perhaps the below posts are relevant to you, hopefully it will be addressed soon!

New Desktop icon's contrast is too low; looks too light

Dark mode app icon

It’s great that we can choose application icons. I’d like to see the same choices but additionally with dark background instead of white. It’s possible to create a custom shortcut on iOS, give it my own icon and use that to open Anytype. But that works mean no notification badges or jump lists (from a touch and hold gesture). I realize that this is subjective. But in my dark-mode world it doesn’t really fit/suit. [image]
