Text is deleted while typing quickly. It occurs in any text space within the app. It only occurs when texting moderate-fast. It deletes every 4th letter.
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT
Open any page in Anytype app.
Begin typing quickly. (Moderate-Fast)
Notice every 4th or 5th letter missing from your text.
THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Continue typing as normal. No problems with any other app or software on same Macbook.

Text used to jumble in the past but now it seems to exclusively be deleting text when typing quickly.

I have the same issue that you had in the past, where the text would be jumbled up.
It appears to be due to the syncing service as it goes away when offline. I live in Australia which is quite far away from the backup node in Switzerland, so my latency would be pretty high.
It seems to happen when it synchronizes while I’m typing quickly, my cursor gets moved by itself usually one character to the left, jumbling up whatever I’m typing.
I’ve noticed it happening while editing object names and descriptions, but not while writing in the main body of an object thankfully. I did a bit of testing, it only seems to happen when editing the object name / description of the currently open object (i.e. not when editing another object from a Set view)
It only happens when typing fast; my guess is that when typing slowly it gives the sync service enough time to do its thing between keystrokes.

I have the same problem. It seems that when typing and making a small pause, the cursor does not position itself at the end of the line, but before the last character. I have version 0.34.3 on Windows 11 PC
It’s happening something similar with me but apperantly it’s not deleting, the cursor is just moving one character to the left. I haven’t found yet what triggers the bug, it’s not happening that consistently to me.
Edit: doing some tests again, I’ve seen it happening more than once at objects of type “Task” and with the title. Additionally, after deleting the characters, it also deletes the character that was after the cursor.
The cursor jumping is a known issue, the devs are aware of it. This fast typing thing though is a new one for me and I can’t reproduce it.
@Road2Potential you switch to Version > Pre-Release in the top menu, and see if it still happens with the update to 0.34.3? If so, can please provide a screen-recording for the devs.
Have you got your spell check switch on in Anytype? If so, switch it off and try again. I had something similar happen to me but after disabling this feature it got rid of my issue…
