Template don’t change layout as it should be

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

1. Create template with not basic layout
2. Use this template for object
3. See that layout wasn’t changed

This bug can be reproduced in 0.36.0

Hey @PavloUA,
Are you meaning that the template is not used when creating a new object? It’s working this way for me.
It’s currently not possible to apply templates to already existing objects.

No. I’m talking about applying the layout with template on an object.

Anytype has layout types:
— basic (headline, description & body)
— account (avatar, headline, description & body)
— note (body only)

If I create an object (all objects have basic layout by default) and apply template with account template — layout doesn’t change. I need to do this changes manually (earlier everything was fine)

Got it now. The issue is, that the layout type “Profile” is not used. It works fine with the default one.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create new template of Type X

2. Change the layout of the template to "Profile
   

   

3. Create new object of type X and in the upper menu select the new template (right one)
   

   

4. The content will be used. But not the profile picture layout.
