Tasks Template Status Option

Describe the bug
Default Task Template includes statuses from previous testing

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create new task
  2. Change status
  3. See bad statuses

Expected behavior
To see only “normal” statuses

System Information:

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Device Manufacturer/Model: Lenovo T580
  • Anytype Version: 0.23.5

The selectable status is prepopulated with these options. I have the same.

@mKay That’s because this relation stores all meanings that you put into it. If you need clear relation, you need to create new one.

They are not meanings that I have put into them. They are built into the object.

Did you every add those status in a different type or page for testing purposes? If you did, they are stored as one possible value of that relation as each relation is presently global and does not limit to a type. The team said they’ll work on adding type qualifier to relations as requested here

So that should solve this problem by allowing user to create separate status relation for each types.

I never added those statuses anywhere. They were already there with the built in objects.

Is it possible that you added those values to any other relation?

No. They were there before I even added anything.

@mKay and @davepatrick are there any other Relations that seem to have prepopulated values that you did not enter to Anytype yourself? @Kirill_Lem is it possible to see when these options for this Relation where added in the Anytype file system or database?
