Tabbed slash menu for easier navigation

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

Wow there’s so many things in the slash menu. And they’re grouped: Text, List, Media, Other, Objects, Relations. It would be cool if the groups appeared as tabs at the top of the menu and could be navigated using the arrow keys.

REAL WORLD USE CASES

Two main benefits:

  • It makes block types browsable and discoverable by new users.
  • It reduces the number of arrow key presses needed to get to later options.

Yes! I could’ve noted that, but I haven’t used the emoji menu often enough to remember it. The only change I’d make is for the tabs to go at the top of the menu, so that they are the first thing a down arrow keypress goes to.
