**WHAT IS THE BUG**

Before v0.56.0, I could select text across multiple bullet list items and press **Tab** to indent all of the corresponding list items.

Since v0.56.0, this no longer works. If the drag starts within the text area, Anytype creates a text selection instead of a block selection, and pressing **Tab** no longer indents the selected list items.

As a workaround, I have to carefully start dragging from an area outside the text so that the blocks themselves are selected.

**HOW TO REPRODUCE IT**

**THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR**

As in versions before v0.56.0, pressing **Tab** should indent the corresponding bullet list items, even when the selection spans the text of multiple items.

Thanks for reporting this. We’ll look into it.

> You can now select text that spans multiple blocks and copy, cut, or quote it all at once. Grabbing a passage that runs across several paragraphs or list items no longer means doing it one block at a time.

v0.56.1 claims that the bug is fixed, but the fix is half-baked.

Thanks for sharing this, I’ve added a more detailed issue on indentation when highlighting text across multiple blocks where different levels of indentation already exist.
