Minimize to system tray is great, but I need to right click and select open anytype in the menu, which is a bit inconvenient to use.

Most apps support one click the system tray icon to open the app, it’s much more convenient, hope anytype can support this.

Indeed, faced the same problem, I thought I was the only one facing this. It should open and close, with a single click on AnyType icon on system tray.
There can be a check box option when we right-click on the system tray icon that say “Close to tray” or “Run in background”, that gives user the option, whether they want to keep it running in background when we close the app window.
Similarly, an option to autorun with Windows, can also be implemented in the same manner.
