Stuck after login

Describe the bug
App stuck for at least 10 minutes (I then restarted the app) after logon.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Uninstall the previous (non-Play Store) version (0.5.x-alpha)
  2. Install v0.6.0-alpha from the Google Play Store.
  3. Login by entering the key phrase.
  4. Stuck on screen “Setting up the wallet …”
  5. When I kill the app and restart it, all seems to be just fine.

Expected behavior
Login without getting stuck.

System Information:

  • OS: e.g. Android 12 and Android 10
  • Device Manufacturer/Model: e.g. Google Pixel 5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S4
  • Anytype Version: e.g. 0.6.0-alpha

Additional context
I could reproduce this on two devices. This seems to be just minor because an app re-start helps.

Apart from the fact that my Firebase version automatically became the Google play one, but couldn’t update to version 6.0 (neither automatically nor manually), I had no problem when I did the same steps as you.

  • Device: OnePlus 7 Pro
  • OS: Oxygen OS 11 (Android 11)
  • Processor: Snapdragon 855

Could this be the same issue as this one? Some people over there mention that a restart resolved the issue for them.

Edit: the error/issue you mention does seem to be different from what is mentioned in the other post. I recently set up Anytype on an Android tablet and had the same issue!
