WHAT IS THE BUG

The download websites does not display information correctly.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

Just open the download website and click on the android download button.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The website should scale or scroll for the “overflow” to be visible.

SYSTEM INFORMATIONS

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Device: HP Envy 13
  • Anytype Version: /
  • User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

My windows display resolution is scaled to 125% so maybe that contributes to the weird situation.
The bug is reproducible both on Chrome and Edge.

Merged a duplicated topic that replicates the bug on the new website.

Hmm, I also use Firefox but this doesn’t happen to me. Am I missing a step?

This is how I see it:

And this is if I use full screen:

All this is on linux so it’s not a problem of display scaling.
It’s like there should be a scroll bar but there isn’t?

Update: using my (taller) primary monitor I don’t have this issue, so it’s just a problem with smaller viewports I suppose

Can you try to use your browser’s zoom feature and see what happens?

The problem lies in the website’s css, maybe this helps:

If you remove the “overflow: hidden” the content is shown fully and there is a scrollbar. Seeing the background issue when doing this makes me think that the code used to avoid problems with the background did not take into consideration higher “zooms”

With zooming

I’ll still log this report with the team.

:open_mouth: Well… weird hahaha, can’t say then.
