Top bar should be the same color as any page inside the app. By page I mean the home screen or any other screen, see gray bars in examples below. It is basically a UX/UI thing, not a real problem, just unpleasant to the eye.
Describe the solution you’d like
Other apps let you choose if you want the top bar to be same color, shade of same color or just different. It would be great to have this kind of options but just matching the current screen color would be nice.
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
Not really any alternatives since there is no configuration for it.

@lucasmmarino is your request similar enough to merge with this one?

Yours is a bit more specific in the sense that you are asking for the status bar color to be configurable instead of always transparent, but maybe that request makes the UI/UX less unpleasant
Hi @sambouwer, it’s basically the same feature request, mine is older and more specific in the sense that I listed the options that usually apps provide in android, but I’ll be more than happy with just being the same color tho, I just want it to fill the whole screen, just as other apps do
so it does not break the look & feel.

The app UI doesn’t stretch behind the system navigation bar and status bar. It instead blacks them out, leaving an unnatural, flat rectangular view on modern devices that all have screens with rounded corners.
Describe the solution you’d like
The UI should take up the full space of the screen. I’m not a native Android developer, but I figure that this isn’t very difficult because it’s just a few lines in Flutter.
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
I don’t think there are any alternatives.
