Renaming relations

WHAT IS THE BUG

I have created a relation and using it on different sets. The name I provided for the relation was too specific that I want to rename it to a more generic name. Whenever I rename the relation, it gets reflected on all the sets. But when restart the Anytype, the name reverts to the previous name.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Create a relation
  2. Use it on multiple sets
  3. Try renaming the relation
  4. Restart the Anytype and check the name of that specific relation.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The renaming of the relation should never revert to the previous name.

SYSTEM INFORMATION

  • OS:
    Linux
  • Device:
    Desktop
  • Anytype Version:
    0.30.6-beta

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

I have changed the name of the relation from “Lemon Amount” to “Amount”

After restarting the Anytype, the name reverts back to “Lemon Amount”

Replicated on Arch Linux - Anytype 0.30.6-beta

@Karthik @kerbless

I’m no longer able to reproduce this in latest Nightly build, do you concur?

Crossing my fingers that this fix will be implemented in today’s stable release.

With the latest nightly build, I no longer have this problem. I am able to rename the relations on the fly, and it stays that way even when I restart the Anytype.

Version: 0.30.10-beta
