Relation “source object” does not update the linked template when changing types

WHAT IS THE BUG
When creating a new object and then switching the type from my default type to another type that has templates as well, the “Source object” relation still incorrectly links to the template of my default type.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Have a default type set that has a template
  2. Create new object
  3. Switch from default type to another type that has a template as well
  4. Choose that template and write something. Then check linked template for “source object”
  5. I was able to provide a video capture (or screen-shot) of the bug, here it is:

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Linked template should correctly update when changing type / template of the type.
