Problem with Devanagari script in title bar

Describe the bug
Whenever you write in devanagari script in the title bar the vowels used along with letters which creates a glyph(idk if thats the correct word) but basically that part is cut off because of the text box having not enought padding or something.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any objects where title bar is present
  2. paste/write a devanagari word or phrase with vowels used in a letter which creates a extra glyph. A example would be this picture.

the part which is highlighted in red is what is cut off.

Expected behavior
Nothing should have been cut off!

System Information:

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Anytype Version: 0.26.1

Additional context
It works fine in android.

Can you please write a phrase to copy, for easier reproduction?

I’ve tried different letter combinations but it doesn’t reproduce for me on all Devanagari keyboards on MacOS, maybe there is some problem with the current font on Windows. Need some help of community to clarify this.

@MusicalSpace is there any specific “version” of devanagari that has this issue? When I want to add this as a language on Windows to try to reproduce the issue, I see the following options:

I’ve tried them all, lol =D

@MusicalSpace could you please share more precise steps on how this issue occurred for you?

Sample text: तोरीबारी बाटा र सपनाहरु

The vowels added to the consonants which appear on top are cut off, also this is Devanagari script but written in Nepali language, so it might be different to Unicode. I thought Nepali used normal universal Devanagari characters, but looks like it’s not true. I don’t remember how I typed it, it’s a book name by a famous Nepali writer, so I probably copied it from internet.

Version: 0.29.1 update.

The problem still persists. Please take a look at it.

This appears to have been fixed in the new update. can it be marked as such?
