WHAT IS THE BUG

URL relations do not always open the correct URL when clicked. Sometimes they do, other times it goes to this URL: http://undefined/

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Create an object with a URL relation
  2. Create a set with a kanban view
  3. Make sure the URL relation is set to show on the cards in the board
  4. Click on the URL

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When clicking a URL relation (like in an object on a kanban board), a new tab should open in my web browser with that URL.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

Sometimes this works as expected, but sometimes the URL that is opened is “http://undefined/” and I can not figure out why it works sometimes and not others.

This has only happened for me in the kanban view, but it might happen in other views. It will often stop working randomly after working fine.

Here is a video of the issue.

The links do not work when you click on them from the card view, if you open the relation panel to show the entire link, then you can click on the link and it takes you there correctly.

The weird thing is that sometimes it does work from the card view and sometimes it does not. I cannot figure out what causes it to work/not work on the card view.

There is another bug that started happening recently and it’s related to this one.

Minimized Windows File Explorer windows randomly gets maximized/focused while using Anytype.

I can’t figure out the steps to reproduce this, it happens randomly.

It only happens on Windows 11 I guess, did not face it on Windows 10.

Sometimes bugs in Anytype are like capturing Pokemon, very illusive.
