Describe the bug
When I right-click on the tray icon of Anytype, it shows a menu with options like “Open Anytype”, “Settings”, “Check for updates” etc., this is expected behavior. However, when I left-click this icon and expect the same behavior or immediate switch to the Anytype application, first a menu flashes for a moment, and then the Anytype app opens.
To Reproduce
- Open Anytype
- Left-click on the tray icon on top of the screen
- See the flashing menu and be redirected to the app
Expected behavior
Typically tray icons have the same behavior on both right- and left-click. I would expect a menu to be opened, with an option “Open Anytype”.
System Information:
- OS: MacOS 12.3.1
- Device Manufacturer/Model: Macbook Pro 13" 2015 with Touchbar
- Anytype Version: 0.25.0
Additional context
It seems like the behavior of left-click on the tray icon has not been decided on, so it performs two actions simultaneously, like opening Anytype and opening the menu.
This is the menu I am talking about, opened using a right-click:
