Be able to select a start and end date for the date relation.
An example of this could be this notion database template.

I did [a post](More robust system for Relations) today suggesting a more robust Relation system.
The idea being that you could build whatever specific type of Relation you might need out of a few basic elements.
For the case you describe, maybe it could be a new Relation called “Day span”, consisting of an array of two date objects.
