WHAT IS THE BUG
It might by design (not a bug) but still, should be considered as one:
tasks in previous and next months don’t appear in the calendar view.
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT
There should be visible tasks in december but they are not visible because we are still in november. You have to change the month to see them.
THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
I would expect to see what I have to do tomorrow… ¬¬
just to rephrase, calendar only show activities within the current month.
Oh, i didnt think about that, it’s true =)
It is not a bug, but an extremely opaque operating concept that can drive the user to despair.
Here is the solution:
You have more than one date relation in your tasks (even if they are not displayed in them).
You have to “tell” Anytype which relation should be included in the calendar view.
This is how it works:
Go to “Sort” and select the desired relation.
In your case, this would be the date of the appointment (not the Creation date).
I had the same problem at the beginning and it took me days to find out how to change it that the creation date of the task is included in the calendar view by default (and not my Termin, what I wanted) …
This is not what OP means, he means that tasks from another month are not selected in this month, and I know why.
Thank you very much, very efficient.
I imagine the fix will be applied in the next update, right?
This is implemented as of v0.37.0
