New Desktop icon's contrast is too low; looks too light

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It’s not a significant problem, but since the Desktop 0.26.1 update, the app icon has a contrast that’s too low. This makes it less visually attractive and more difficult to recognize.

It looks okay when your eyes are focused on it, but try focusing on anything other than the logo - it turns into an indistinguishable white squircle.

Describe the solution you’d like
The mobile app icons have the same “gradient” logo redesign, but they’ve also been redesigned some time ago after user feedback to have a deeper contrast, unlike the low-contrast Desktop app icon. It’d be great and would be a suitable solution to just move the mobile app icon to the Desktop app.

Additional context

Comparison between the Desktop and Mobile app icons. The color isn’t exactly accurate as this is a photo, not a screenshot, but this does represent the difference pretty well.

Hi @edwards, welcome back!

Linking a related FR here. It’s not similar enough for me to merge, but it is also about the app icon
